Vietnam U23s in top 3 nominees for National Team of The Year
VOV.VN -FourFourTwo magazine has included Vietnam’s U23 team among the top 3 nominees for “National team of the Year” in the Southeast Asian Football Awards.

| According to the magazine, following a disappointing AFF Cup 2016, Vietnam’s team have made great progress by securing qualification for the 2019 Asian Cup in the UAE with an unbeaten record and only one fixture remaining. |

| Thailand is a strong candidate to take the award from Vietnam as it currently tops the list. |

| The third place on the list goes to the Philippines. |

Meanwhile, midfielder Dinh Thanh Trung has been named among FourFourTwo’s top 5 for Player of the Year. |
