Vietnam U19s to face Mexico U19s in Suwon JS Cup

The Suwon JS Cup 2018, set to take place from April 18-24, will feature teams from the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Morocco, and Vietnam.

According to head coach Hoang Anh Tuan, the event will be a warm-up for the Vietnamese side as they prepare for the finals of the AFC U19 Championship being played in Indonesia between October 18 and November 4.

After their match against Mexico, the next games coming up for Vietnam’s U19s will be against Morocco’s U19s (April 20) and the host country’s RoK team (April 22). During their training in Hanoi, Vietnam’s U19 squad beat Phu Dong football club 2-1 on April 7.

The team will fly to the RoK on April 16 to prepare for the tournament.
