Vietnam set to compete in 2025 World Aquatics Championships

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s national swimming team departed for Singapore on July 24 to take part in the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, scheduled from July 27 to August 3.

The four-member squad includes Nguyen Huy Hoang, a silver medalist at the 2018 Asian Games, and Nguyen Quang Thuan, who claimed silver in the 400m event at the 2023 SEA Games. Hoang will compete in the men’s 1,500m freestyle, while Thuan will race in the men’s 400m individual medley.

Also representing Vietnam are Pham Thanh Bao in the men’s 200m breaststroke and Vo Thi My Tien in the women’s 200m individual medley.

This will be Vietnam’s first international swimming event of the year.
