Vietnam Olympic squad rewarded for win with VND400m bonus
VOV.VN - Le Hung Dung, president of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), has decided to award a bonus of VND400 million to the Vietnamese Olympic squad for their first win of the U23 International Championship-Vinaphone Cup 2018.

Although Palestine opened the scorer, the Vietnamese team maintained their composure to fight back for a 2-1 win with goals scored by Anh Duc and Cong Phuong.
Vietnam got off to a good start with their defeat of Palestine in their first match of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) U23 International Championship - Vinaphone Cup 2018 in Hanoi on August 3.
After Uzbekistan’s 0-0 draw with Oman earlier in the day, the Vietnamese Olympic squad are currently the top team in the tournament.
Vietnam will play Oman on August 5 and Uzbekistan on August 7.
The friendly tournament is part of the Vietnamese Olympic squad’s preparations ahead of the Asian Games (ASIAD) 2018.
