Vietnam hold Uzbekistan to a 0-0 draw in CFA China Team 2025
VOV.VN - U22 Vietnam held U22 Uzbekistan to a 0-0 draw in their second match of the ongoing friendly tournament CFA China Team 2025 on March 23.

Despite facing highly-rated opponents, U22 Vietnam who had previously drawn 1-1 with U22 Republic of Korea in their opener entered the match with confidence. Coach Dinh Hong Vinh’s squad created an even contest against Uzbekistan, launching multiple attacking plays and attempts on goal. But their shots lacked the precision needed to challenge the Uzbek goalkeeper.
On the other hand, the Central Asian team repeatedly put pressure on goalkeeper Cao Văn Bình’s goal. However, Vietnam’s solid defensive play kept their opponents at bay, and the first half ended in a goalless draw.
In the second half, the Vietnamese players continued to hold their ground against Uzbekistan. Coach Hong Vinh made some substitutions to maintain the team’s energy and implemented a disciplined counter-attacking approach against their strong opponents.
In the end, Vietnam secured a 0-0 draw against Uzbekistan, and this was their second consecutive draw in the CFA China Team 2025 tournament. Similarly, Uzbekistan also recorded their second goalless draw after their opening match against hosts China.
