Vietnam drops to No. 134 in football world ranking

VOV.VN - The International Federation of Football Association has announced that Vietnam’s national football squad dropped one notch to No 134, in the August world rankings. 

With 231 points, Vietnam ranks third in the Southeast Asia region, while the Philippines takes the lead with 249 points, trailed by Thailand with 243 points. 

According to the FIFA ranking, Thailand jumped one position to No 130.

In Asia, the top places belong to Iran, Japan, Australia, the Republic of Korea and Saudi Arabia.

Globally, Brazil takes the lead, followed by Germany, Argentina, Switzerland, Poland and Portugal.
