Vietnam drop three spots in global futsal rankings
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national futsal team fell three places to 41st position in the global rankings, according to the latest update on May 27 by Futsal World Ranking.
Recently the national team finished third at the AFF Futsal Championship 2022 and the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31), having direct impact on their positions in the world rankings.
Indonesia finished as runners-up in both tournaments, duly climbing nine spots and replacing Vietnam at 38th position in the world.
Elsewhere, Thailand jumped one spot and made it into the top 20 after winning the AFF Futsal Championship 2022 and defending their gold medal at SEA Games 31.
Iran retained their No1 position in Asia and the sixth in the world.
Brazil topped the world rankings.
