VFF enhances international partnerships at 75th FIFA Congress
VOV.VN - A delegation from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), led by President Tran Quoc Tuan, attended the 75th FIFA Congress held on May 15 in Asunción, Paraguay.

On the sidelines of the event, President Tuan held a series of bilateral meetings with leaders of major football associations, including those of the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Brazil, to beef up strategic cooperation.
During talks with the Dutch Football Association, both sides expressed a shared interest in developing youth and women’s football. They also explored the potential for technical collaboration through expert and coaching exchanges.
At a meeting with football legend Andriy Shevchenko, now President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Tuan discussed future directions for Vietnam–Ukraine football cooperation.
Tuan also met with Ednaldo Rodrigues, President of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), to discuss the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in March during President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s state visit to Vietnam. Both sides agreed to strengthen ties through a range of activities, including expert and coach exchanges, joint conferences, support for friendly matches, and cooperation in sports management and medicine.
The 75th FIFA Congress brought together representatives from more than 200 member associations. It adopted a revised Disciplinary Code aimed at strengthening measures against racial discrimination and updated competition regulations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2025 FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
In celebration of FIFA’s 120th anniversary, a special exhibition was also held, featuring historic football artifacts to inspire future generations.
