Two billiards players become brand ambassadors of Aramith & Simonis

VOV.VN - Vietnamese billiards players Nguyen Anh Tuan and Bui Truong An have been the only Asian representatives in billiards pool category to become the faces of Aramith & Simonis, a well-known billiard ball manufacturer in Belgium.

Jean Francois Schmitz, global business director of Aramith & Simonis, said that after conducting thorough research in the Asian and Vietnamese markets, the firm is keen to further popularise the brand among Vietnamese fans and further develop the billiards movement in the country.

Accordingly, under the sponsorship contract, Anh Tuan and Truong An will have the opportunity to travel across the country as they work to promote the billiards movement.

As scheduled, February will see Aramith & Simonis coordinate with other units to organise a major tournament in the central city of Da Nang, creating a golden opportunity for local cueists to compete against some of the world's leading players, with a total prize value of up to US$40,000 on offer.

Nguyen Anh Tuan has won eight golds at the national championships, four golds at the National Sports Festival, and one silver and three bronzes at the SEA Games.

He has significantly contributed to the growth of the billiards pool movement in Vietnam by sponsoring over 20 young athletes, opening a training class with more than 500 students, and funding dozens of large and small tournaments throughout the year.

Bui Truong An , on the other hand, is renowned as the youngest professional billiards player from an ethnic minority group in Vietnam. He manages 14 billiards clubs nationwide and enjoys immense popularity among young people.
