TV360 secures exclusive Formula One broadcast rights in Vietnam for three years
VOV.VN - TV360 has secured exclusive rights to broadcast Formula One in Vietnam for the next three seasons, allowing fans to follow the entire race weekend on a single digital platform.
The announcement was made on March 4 by TV360, a digital content platform operated by Viettel Telecom.
Under the agreement, starting from the 2026 season, TV360 will broadcast the full Formula One race weekend, including practice sessions, qualifying rounds, Sprint races and all Grand Prix events, enabling viewers to follow every stage of the championship.
Viewers will be able to watch the races on multiple devices, including smartphones, smart TVs, tablets and web browsers, provided they have an internet connection within Vietnam.
Organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), Formula One is widely regarded as the pinnacle of global motor racing. Since its debut in 1950, the championship has grown into one of the world’s most influential sporting events, attracting more than 1.5 billion viewers globally each season. A typical season features around 20 to 24 races held across several continents.
The competition brings together some of the sport’s most accomplished drivers, from experienced champions such as Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso to leading contemporary stars including Max Verstappen, as well as rising talents like Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
The 2026 season is expected to mark a major turning point for the sport, with new technical regulations aimed at improving efficiency and expanding the use of sustainable energy technologies, showing the broader shift toward greener automotive innovation.
For TV360, securing Formula One rights expands its international sports content and responds to growing demand among Vietnamese viewers for global sporting events.
