Top players nominated for Golden Ball Award 2022

Voting papers have been issued to football experts, coaches, captains of V.League 1 FCs, women’s teams, and futsal teams, along with journalists from across the nation.

The awards will see the Golden Ball prize awarded in various categories, including men’s, women’s, and futsal.

Here is the list of nominees:

1. Men’s Golden Ball:

- Do Hung Dung (Hanoi FC), Nguyen Hoang Duc (Viettel FC), Dang Van Lam (Topenland Binh Dinh), Nguyen Tien Linh (Becamex  Binh Duong), and Nguyen Van Quyet (Hanoi FC).

2. Women’s Golden Ball:

Tran Thi Kim Thanh (HCM City FC), Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy (HCM City FC), Tran Thi Thuy Trang (HCM City FC), Huynh Nhu (Lank FC), and Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung (Phong Phu Ha Nam FC).

3. Futsal’s Golden Ball:

Khong Dinh Hung (Sahako FC), Ho Van Y (Thai Son Nam FC), Nguyen Manh Dung (Thai Son Nam FC), Chau Doan Phat ((Thai Son Nam FC), and Lam Tan Phat (Sahako FC).

4. Best male player:

Khuat Van Khang (Viettel FC), Nguyen Phi Hoang (Da Nang FC), and Phan Tuan Tai (Viettel FC).

5. Best female player:

Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha (Hanoi FC), Vu Thi Hoa (Hanoi FC), and Ngan Thi Van Su (Hanoi FC).

6. Best foreign player:

Rimario Gordon (Becamex Binh Duong), Goncalves Vinicius (Hanoi FC), and Jermie Lynch (Topenland Binh Dinh).

As scheduled, the awards gala will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Theatre on February 25.
