Thanh Phuc takes gold in 20-km race walk
VOV.VN - Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuc on April 28 won the first gold medal for Vietnam at the Singapore Open Track and Field Championships in race walking by capturing the women’s 20-km bronze.

“I’m so happy to get a good result,” said Miss Phuc. “I am grateful to all those who have had my back. Their support gave me strength and I was able to stay strong right until the end.”
Miss Phuc said she looks forward to having another opportunity to book a spot at the Rio Olympics this coming June.
