Thai players arrive in Vietnam for ASEAN Cup Final first leg
VOV.VN - The Thailand national football team landed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on December 31 evening, staying ready for the first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 final against hosts Vietnam.
Upon landing in Hanoi, the team promptly continued their journey to Viet Tri City of Phu Tho Province where the match is due to take place on January 2.
Thailand brought their strongest lineup, including key players who have contributed significantly to their journey to the final.
The squad is missing striker Suphanat Mueanta, who needs additional time to recover from an illness suffered before the second leg of the semifinals against the Philippines. He is expected to rejoin the team on January 1, 2025.
On January 1, the pre-match press conference for the Vietnam vs Thailand first leg will be held at 11 AM. Later that day, both teams will have warm-up exercises at Viet Tri Stadium to prepare for their encounter the following day.
This highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place at 8 PM on January 2 at Viet Tri Stadium. The second leg is slated for 8 PM on January 5 at Rajamangala Stadium in capital Bangkok.
