Sichuan club triumphs in VTV9-Binh Dien Women’s Volleyball Tournament
VOV.VN - Sichuan club from China were victorious in the VTV9-Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Tournament after defeating B.I.P of the United States 3-0 in the final match in Rach Gia city in the southern province of Kien Giang on May 19.

| Sichuan trounces B.I.P 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-18) and lifted the VTV9-Binh Dien Women’s Volleyball Tournament trophy for the first time. |

| In the third-place match the hosts, VTV Binh Dien Long An, suffered a defeat to Thailand’s U23 team. |

| Thailand’s U23 team finished third after having putting on a number of impressive displays during the tournament. |

| Other Vietnamese teams in the competition include Thong tin Lienviet Post Bank, Duc Giang Hanoi, and VietinBank who finish 5th, 6th, and 7th overall. |

| Following their triumph, Sichuan club of China take home the championship title and received US$15,000 as a cash prize. |

| The runners-up B.I.P club won US$10,000. |

| The third-place team, Thailand’s U23 team were awarded US$7,000. |

| Thanh Thuy and Zhang Hong-lin were awarded the Best Outside Spiker titles. |

| The Best Libero award went to Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. |

| The Most Valuable Player title was awarded to Lindsey Stalzer. |
