Quang Liem comes third at Spring Chess Classic
VOV.VN -Vietnamese grandmaster Le Quang Liem achieved a third-place finish at the 2019 Spring Chess Classic, which concluded on March 11 in Saint Louis, the United States.

The nation’s best chess player ranked third overall at the competition, earning five points from nine matches.
Xiong Jeffery, from the US, (Elo rating 2666) came in first place with six points, whilst Illya of Ukraine (Elo rating 2638) came in second with 5.5 points.
The Spring Chess Classic attracted a total of 10 Grandmasters, each of whom had an Elo rating above 2600.
