Quang Hai becomes Vietnam’s most valuable footballer
VOV.VN - Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has become Vietnam’s most valuable footballer, according to the latest market valuations published by Transfermarkt, a Germany-based website specialising in player transfer values and statistics.
Under the new assessment, Quang Hai is valued EUR 400,000, the highest figure ever assigned to him by Transfermarkt. Excluding naturalised players such as Xuan Son and Quang Vinh, he is currently the most valuable Vietnamese domestic player.
The 400,000-euro valuation matches Quang Hai’s previous peak during his time with Hanoi FC and later Pau FC. After joining CAHN FC in 2023, his market value fell to 300,000 euros. Strong performances for the police-backed club have since lifted his valuation again.
Trailing Quang Hai is Pham Tuan Hai of Hanoi FC, valued at 375,000 euros. He is followed by Do Duy Manh, Nguyen Tien Linh and Nguyen Hoang Duc, all priced at 325,000 euros.
Hoang Duc, the reigning Vietnam Golden Ball winner for 2025, is widely expected to see his market value rise further after a series of strong displays for Ninh Binh FC.
