PM congratulates Vietnam Olympic team on entrance into ASIAD quarter-finals
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has sent congratulations to the Vietnam Olympic team on earning a slot in the quarterfinals of Asian Games (ASIAD) 2018 after beating Bahrain 1-0.

Right after the victory against Olympic Bahrain, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, who is also President of Vietnam Olympic Committee decided to present a cash bonus of VND200 million to the Vietnam Olympic team for their first entrance into ASIAD quarterfinals.
Minister Thien also congratulated the team and head coach Park Hang-seo on their good performance at the continental tournament which made Vietnamese football fans happy. He wished the whole team and coach Park Hang-seo good health and reminded VFF about taking care of the Vietnam Olympic team in preparation for the next match.
Meanwhile, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) gives a cash-prize of VND500 million to the team immediately after its win over Bahrain.
This is the first time Vietnam has made their entrance into the quarterfinals at the continental sports tournament.
