Over 800 athletes take part in Nha Trang open water race

VOV.VN - More than 800 swimmers from Vietnam and 25 countries are competing in the Sea Star Nha Trang Bay open water race, which kicked off on June 20 at the Sailing Club Nha Trang.

Athletes are racing across distances of 500m, 1,000m, 2,000m, 5,000m, and 10,000m.

Organisers have announced 148 prizes worth a total of VND200 million, to be awarded to individuals and teams with outstanding results. 

The Sea Star Nha Trang Bay Swimming Tournament 2025 is part of the Sea Culture -Tourism Festival 2025 and aims to promote health, fitness, and swimming as a key skill in preventing drowning.

The event also serves to highlight Nha Trang- Khanh Hoa as a leading sea tourism destination and to help stimulate local tourism.
