Nha Trang to host Asia-Pacific superbike festival with over 2,000 riders
VOV.VN - An Asia-Pacific-scale superbike festival will be held in Nha Trang City for the first time, expected to draw more than 2,000 riders and around 100 motorcycle clubs from eight countries.
The event was announced at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on January 28 by Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio-Television, in coordination with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
According to the organizers, Castrol Superbike Fest 2026 will take place from May 29 to 31 at several central locations along Nha Trang’s coastline, including April 2 Square and major coastal parks. Activities will be arranged along the seaside route, linking key tourist sites into a continuous experience for participating riders.
Speaking at the press conference, Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the province views Castrol Superbike Fest 2026 as a major international sports-tourism event this year. He said the event is expected to help promote the image of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa to domestic and international visitors while adding a distinctive tourism product to the locality.
The programme will feature a large-scale motorcycle parade along coastal routes, live music shows, technical performances by domestic and foreign riders, competitive motor adventure and off-road events, as well as vehicle exhibitions, community-based activities and touring routes connecting Nha Trang with neighboring localities.
