Ngo Dinh Nai qualifies for quarterfinals of Survival 3C Masters
VOV.VN -Talented Vietnamese billiards player Ngo Dinh Nai, currently ranked number 13 in the world, successfully booked his place in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Billiards Survival 3C Masters in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

Elsewhere the two other Vietnamese players competing in the tournament, Tran Quyet Chien, world number three, and Nguyen Quoc Nguyen, world number 11, endured poor performances in their groups.
Chien earned only 25 points from two rounds of matches in Group A, behind Murat Naci Coklu of Turkey, world number eight, Choi Sung-Won of the RoK, world number 15, and Choi Sung-Won of the RoK. Choi Wan-Young of the RoK, world number 67, finished bottom of the group.
Quoc Nguyen won only 27 points and finished in third place in Group F along with Sameh Sidhom of Egypt, world number 12.
The two tickets to the quarterfinals in the group went to Tayfun Tasdemir of Turkey, world number six, and Kang In-Won of the RoK.
As a result, the two Vietnamese billiards players will compete in a play-off round to decide who will progress to the quarterfinals.
Chien will be in Group G alongside Dick Jaspers of the Netherlands, world number, Jeremy Bury of France, world number 10, and Choi Wan-Young of the RoK, world number 67.
Elsewhere Nguyen will be in Group H with MERCKX Eddy Maerckx of Belgium, world number five, Cho Jae Ho, world number seven, and Semih Sayginer of Turkey, world number four.
The winner of the tournament will walk away with prize money of US$50,000, while the runners-up will receive US$21,000.
