Martial artists win gold at pencak silat tournament

VOV.VN - Martial artists from Hanoi brought home a treasure chest of medals from their second-place finish at the 8th UPSI International Pencak Silat Championship 2017 in Kampong Batu Lima, Malaysia.

In the medal tally, the team collected four gold medals, two silver and one bronze at the outing where they competed with athletes from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Brunei and Myanmar.
  

Meanwhile, Jujitsu martial artist Dao Hong Son from Hanoi also earned two bronze medals on March 19 at the World Jujitsu Championship in Greece. This year, the tourney attracted more than 300 athletes from 25 nations.
