Janko Tipsarevic to compete in Vietnam Open
(VOV) - Serbian professional tennis player Janko Tipsarevic will compete in the Vietnam Open, to take place from October 10- 18 at Lan Anh tennis club in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) General Secretary Nguyen Quoc Ky has announced .
Throughout his career, Tipsarevic has won four ATP World Tour titles, one ATP doubles title, two Futures, and nine tournaments in which the ATP Challenger Serie. Tipsarević also won the 2011 Australian Open Junior title.
He was once the world’s No. 8-ranked tennis player, but injuries saw his rank plummet to 393rd in the world rankings.
Aside from the Serbian player, the tournament has attracted top international tennis players including Marcel Granollers (81st in the ATP rankings), James Duckworth (96th) and players in top 300 rankings like Lee Duck Hee, Daniel Nguyen, Luke Saville and Jimmy Wang.
