Iran triumphs at Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championships

Iran won the second Asian Cadet Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2017, which wrapped up in Ho Chi Minh City on June 7. 

Iranian martial artists bagged a total of 12 gold, four silver and three bronze medals at the event.

Vietnam came second, pocketing four golds, seven silvers and two bronzes, followed by Taiwan (China) with two gold and one silver medals.
According to Truong Ngoc De, President of the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation, the quality of tournament had improved, boosting Vietnam young martial artists’ confidence.

Hosted by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation, the second Asian Cadet Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2017 attracted 277 martial artists aged 12-14 from 17 regional countries an territories.
