International U21 Football Championship 2019 kicks off in Danang
VOV.VN -Comprising of four teams from around the world, the International U21 Football Championship 2019 is set to get underway at the Hoa Xuan stadium in the central city of Danang on October 30.

The teams will compete in a round-robin format with the winning teams from both fixtures progressing to the final, whilst the two losing teams will compete in a third-place play-off.
It is thought that the event will serve as an excellent chance for Vietnam’s U21 squad to gain experience ahead of some important upcoming tournaments.
The squad’s players will have the opportunity to impress ahead of selection for the U22+2 team that will take part in the SEA Games 30 in the Philippines.
Following the opening ceremony, FK Sarajevo U19s will face off against the Japanese student team at 15:30, while Vietnam’s U21 team are scheduled to meet Hanyang university at 17:45.
