Hoang Nam climbs to highest ranking in Vietnamese tennis history

VOV.VN - Local tennis player Ly Hoang Nam has risen 95 places to reach 272nd in the latest ranking compiled by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

This represents the highest ranking in Hoang Nam's career, as well as the highest milestone ever achieved by a player from Southeast Asia.

The latest increase in Nam’s rankings can be attributed to his impressive achievements recorded at the ATP Challenger 50 Bangkok Open, Bangkok Open 1, and Bangkok Open 2.

This achievement means that Nam continues to maintain the top position in Southeast Asia, far ahead of his Thai rival who is in second at No. 575 in the world.

Nam is currently preparing to compete in the M25 Tay Ninh professional tournament which is scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 2.
