Hoang Duc maintained consistent form throughout the year and played a key role in helping Ninh Binh FC top the V-League standings.

The 1998-born midfielder now has three Vietnam Golden Ball titles, having previously won the award in 2021 and 2022. He was also named Silver Ball winner in 2024 and Bronze Ball recipient in 2022.

With three Golden Ball titles, Hoang Duc has drawn level with Vietnamese football legend Le Huynh Duc, who won the award in 1995, 1997 and 2002. Former striker Le Cong Vinh, Vietnam’s all-time leading scorer, also collected three Golden Balls in 2004, 2006 and 2007.

The record for the most Vietnam Golden Ball titles remains with former midfielder Pham Thanh Luong, who won the award four times, in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2016.

At the same ceremony, Nguyen Dinh Bac was awarded the Vietnam Silver Ball 2025, along with the Young Player of the Year honor. He later donated his entire prize money of VND45 million to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to support people in need.

The year 2025 marked a breakthrough season for Dinh Bac. He helped Vietnam U23 win the ASEAN U23 Championship and secure the gold medal at the SEA Games. At club level, he was a key contributor as CAHN FC secured both the National Cup and the National Super Cup.
