Golf tournament underway in city of Thanh Hoa

VOV.VN - Thanh Hoa’s biggest golf tournament returns this weekend as the AMD Golf Challenge 2017 (August 11-13) has gotten underway at the FLC Samson Golf Links.

More than 1,000 amateur and professional golfers are competing for a chance to win a portion of the US$880,000 purse, said the tournament executive board at the opening ceremony.

In addition, golfers scoring a hole in one on holes 11 and 16 will win a Mercedes C200, along with VIP membership cards to the FLC Sam Son and FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links. Admission to the event is free, and open to all members of the public.
