Goalkeeper Trung Kien’s market value quadruples in just over a year
VOV.VN -Vietnamese goalkeeper Trung Kien has seen a sharp rise in his transfer market value, which has quadrupled in just over a year.
Kien impressed at the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup finals, where he produced a series of key saves for U23 Vietnam and played an important role in the team’s third-place finish in Saudi Arabia.
At club level, the 2003-born goalkeeper has also maintained solid form with HAGL FC, featuring regularly in the V.League and contributing to the team’s ability to secure crucial points.
According to Transfermarkt, Trung Kien is currently valued at EUR200,000, ranking fourth among the most valuable players in the U23 Vietnam squad and standing as HAGL FC’s most valuable domestic player. By comparison, he was valued at just EUR50,000 in June 2024. The latest update in November 2026 reflects a fourfold increase in his market value.
If he maintains his current form with HAGL FC, Trung Kien’s market value is likely to rise further.
