Friendly football tournament celebrates Vietnam- Cambodia diplomatic ties
VOV.VN - On November 26, a friendly football tournament was launched in Phnom Penh with the participation of Vietnamese and Cambodia students along with Vietnamese business representatives in Cambodia.

The tournament include four male teams and two female teams from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia, a subsidiary company of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam and telecom group Metfone under the Military Telecom Group(Viettel).
In his opening address, head of the Vietnam alumni delegation in Cambodia Le Trung Kien highlighted the tournament as a practical activity of great significance for fostering the friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding among Vietnamese and Cambodian students and Vietnamese businesses operating in Cambodia.
The event has also helped encourage sports movements among students, youth union members of both nations, Mr Kien noted.
The championship went to male footballers from the Vietnam alumni delegation.
