Former France international Christian Karembeu to meet Vietnamese fans

VOV.VN - World cup winning former French football star Christian Karembeu will arrive in Vietnam to meet with Vietnamese fans at the Hoa Lu Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City on December 23 for a live broadcast of the El Clásico game between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

At the event, Christian Karembeu and commentators of the K Plus (K+) cable TV channel will analyse and give commentary on the El Clásico game.

A 500-inch projector screen will be installed at the stadium for a live broadcast of the match.

Born in New Caledonia in 1970, Karembeu played for Nantes (1990–1995), Sampdoria (1995–1997), Real Madrid (1997–2000), Middlesbrough (2000–2001), Olympiakos (2001–2004), Servette Genève (2004–2005), and Bastia (2005–2006). He won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 1998 and 2000.
