First-ever LS Cup 2019 ready for Hanoi

VOV.VN -The inaugural LS Cup 2019 for Vietnamese female footballers will take place at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre in Hanoi between May 22 and May 31.

The championship will see a total of six teams competing, including Hanoi FC, Phong Phu Ha Nam FC, Son La FC, Ho Chi Minh City II FC, Ho Chi Minh City Youth FC, and TNG Thai Nguyen FC.

The teams will be divided into two groups and will compete in a round robin format.

The two teams that finish in first place in each group will qualify for the final to decide the tournament’s overall winner. The second placed teams will compete for third place overall while the teams that finish third in their group will vie for fifth position.

The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of VND100 million while the second and third ranked teams will receive VND80 million and VND50 million, respectively.

The LS Cup 2019 is set to be a golden opportunity for female footballers to showcase their talents for selection for the women's national football team as well as gaining valuable.
