Duc wins best player award in V.League
Phan Van Duc of Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) has won the best player award for July and August in the V.League 1, according to the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company.

Duc scored nine goals for SLNA in the two months to help his squad rank third in the rankings after 20 matches.
SLNA also won the best team award in July and August, while SLNA’s coach Nguyen Duc Thang won the best coach award.
Duc was a member of Vietnam team that competed in the Asian Games in Indonesia in which Vietnam finished fourth for the first time. At the ASIAD, Duc scored one goal.
SLNA will meet Hanoi FC in the league’s 21st round on September 9.
