VOV.VN - A team of legends from German side Borussia Dortmund are scheduled to face off against a Vietnam All Stars team at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on September 28, announced next Media, the premiere leader in sports and digital media in Vietnam.
Among the coming Borussia Dortmund players are Jan Koller, Roman Weidenfeller, and Karl-Heinz Riedle.
All Stars Vietnam will feature national team top goal scorer Le Huynh Duc, former strikers Van Quyen, Cong Vinh, and Quoc Vuong, as well as current players of the Vietnamese national team such as Que Ngoc Hai, Do Hung Dung, and Ngo Hoang Thinh.
The game is part of the True Love – To The Future campaign jointly run by Next Media, Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union, Borussia Dortmund, and delegates of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK) in a bid to support orphans and children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each ticket for the match will cost VND100,000 with the proceeds to be transferred to the campaign's fund.
Vietnamese singers Hoang Bach and My Tam have been named as the campaign's ambassadors and hope to spread the campaign's message nationwide.
