Their victory in the tournament came about after recording a 3-0 win over rivals The Cong in the final.
Most notably, Border topped the table after winning all five of their matches during the tournament, whilst The Cong and Hanoi were placed second and third, respectively.
In the women’s competition, Vietinbank beat LienVietPostBank 3-1 in order to clinch the championship title.
VTV Binh Dien Long An came in third after enjoying a victory over Hanoi.
The national U23 volleyball championships were held in Dak Nong province between November 7 and 15, drawing the participation of 12 teams who competed for the championship titles in both the men’s and women’s categories.
This year marks the first time that the event has been an official competition of the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam, with the occasion set to be held annually moving forward.
