Badminton players bring home two golds at Felet Vietnam International Series 2025

VOV.VN - Vietnamese badminton players claimed two gold and two silver medals at the Felet Vietnam International Series 2025, which concluded in Bac Ninh province on November 2.

Nguyen Thuy Linh Trang secured her second consecutive championship title within two weeks after defeating her opponent in the women’s singles final. Earlier, she had topped the podium at the Vietnam International Series 2025 tournament in Ninh Binh, held from October 21 to 26.

In the men’s singles, Le Duc Phat earned a 2-1 victory over Jewel Angelo Albo of the Philippines to clinch the gold medal.

Vietnam also bagged two silver medals in the men’s and women’s doubles events. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old Malaysian duo Loh Ziheng and Noraqilah Maisarah triumphed in the mixed doubles after overcoming Thailand’s Surasit Ariyabaraneekul and Atitaya Povanon.

The Felet Vietnam International Series 2025, held from October 28 to November 2, attracted 253 players from 18 countries and territories. Vietnam sent 87 athletes and competed in four out of the tournament’s five final matches.

The championships provided a valuable opportunity for players to sharpen their skills and improve their world rankings.
