Luan said he hopes the young scientists will continue their research and advance their professional fields.
Do Duy Hieu, who won second prize, said the award offers students a space to celebrate their intellectual and scientific enthusiasm. It also promotes exchanging research experiences.
The organising board received more than 300 entries from students researching 12 fields at 84 universities and institutes across the country.
Some award winners have been profiled in international publications.
