Young people to have their say at national policy forum on Mar. 30

VOV.VN - A national policy forum for young people will take place at the National Assembly building in Hanoi on March 30, organisers said at a press briefing on March 28.

The gathering, they said, will present a chance for young people to share their aspirations and make recommendations on vocational training to State agencies to meet the country’s development requirements in the current period.

It will also help raise the awareness of young people and the entire society about vocational training policy in the context of the complicated nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and the strong development of science – technology.

The forum will be attended by policymakers, experts, scientists, and representatives of businesses, vocational training institutions and international organizations.

Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Tuong Lam expressed hope the National Policy Forum for Youth in 2022 will contribute to bringing policies to life in the most practical way.

Young people will actively seize opportunities and overcome challenges to adapt to the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the development requirements of the country, he said.

The forum will be co-organised by the National Assembly Committee for Culture and Education, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam.
