Yamaha Motor Vietnam gifts 11,000 helmets to students

Yamaha Motor Vietnam presented nearly 11,000 helmets for students in the central province of Thanh Hoa at a ceremony on December 3.

At the ceremony, the National Committee for Traffic Safety awarded winners of contests on decorating helmets decoration and drawing helmet promotion posters.

As a sideline activity on the day, thousands of students paraded on major streets to promote the use of helmets for children.

Since 2003, Yamaha’s social activities have thus far reached 2,140 primary schools across 25 provinces and cities nationwide, many of which are located in remote areas. The company has gifted almost 3 million sets of school stationery and helmets for Vietnamese students.
