The two-day course, organised by the Vietnam Women’s Union ’s central committee and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), aims to introduce journalists to a rights-based approach to stories on domestic violence.

Reporters at the workshop are discussing and sharing information on ways to access information, as well as attending lectures and viewing films on case studies.

The course is expected to help improve journalists’ practical skills so they can produce timely, high-quality stories that will help prevent domestic violence and reduce gender inequality in the country in the long term.
