Woman arrested with cocaine shipment
Vietnamese customs officials found a female passenger carrying five kilogrammes of cocaine in 16 bags inside her luggage upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on November 3.
Kaur Gurcharan Singh Manpal, 44, from Malaysia, had travelled from Malaysia to Columbia, Panama, Saopaulo (Brazil) and Dubai (UAE).
After having the luggage scanned, customs officials decided to open it for manual inspection. After the powder was tested by police officials, the woman was arrested and detained for further investigation.
