The World Bank has announced that it will provide Vietnam with US$10 million in aid to early prevent the bird flu epidemic and treat infected patients.

The sum is part of the WB’s package aid worth US$28 million to implement bird flu prevention and control projects in 13 nations in the world.


Among the recipients, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Tazikistan will be provided with US$10 million, US$5 million and US$1.5 million respectively. The remainder will be given to the Middle East and Latin American countries.
