The AKIZ project will be funded by the German government with a total investment of 7 million Euros.

Under the project, a series of waste water treatment plants will be built in industrial zones across the country, with the first in Tra Noc Industrial Zone in Can Tho city.

Covering 290 hectares, Tra Noc Industrial Zone has more than 125 projects which discharge about 12,500 cubic meters of waste water/day and night, seriously polluting the environment.
