VOV's Vietnam Journey channel honoured at Vietnam Tourism Awards
VOV.VN -The Vietnam Journey TV Channel of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) was honoured during the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2019 ceremony after making a great contribution to the country’s tourism industry.

The event also saw the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam who is also serving as the head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism, Phan Thanh Binh, chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children, and Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
During the ceremony, the Vietnam Tourism Awards were presented to a number of leading travel operators across 16 categories.
Some of the groups that enterprises were competing in included the top 10 tour operators of inbound, outbound, and domestic services, the top 10 five-star hotels, the top 10 four-star hotels, the top five passenger automobile carriers, the top 10 leading golf courses, and the top five tourism investors, among others.
The awards, represent the tourism sector’s most prestigious prize, were presented to domestic organisations, businesses, and individuals that have made positive contributions to the development of the nation’s tourism sector .
The awards were in recognition of businesses and individuals' contributions to improving the quality of services, diversifying tourism products, and building national tourism brands.
