The programme, signed on February 1 by VOV General Director Vu Van Hien and MCST Minister Hoang Tuan Anh, is aimed at promoting important events like the 1000^th anniversary of Thang Long- Hanoi and other festivals.

Under the programme, the two organizations will work together to help improve the Party’s leadership and state management in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.

The MCST will help VOV access information on culture, family, sports and tourism and organise events while VOV will be responsible for broadcasting these events on its channels.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, both Mr. Anh and Mr. Hien agreed that the programme will help the two organisations build and develop Vietnam’s cultural and humanitarian tradition.
