VOV launches Mekong traffic radio channel

In his speech at launch ceremony on July 14, VOV President Nguyen The Ky said the radio channel will reflect the specific features of the Mekong Delta and provide useful information about traffic, culture, entertainment, and daily life.

 “Following the successes of VOV traffic channels in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong FM aims to become an attractive and trust worthy radio channel catering to more than 20 million listeners in 13 Mekong provinces. It will be broadcast from Can Tho City and has a full coverage of the Mekong Delta on a 24/7 basis," he said.

The radio channel features specific programs targeting the Mekong Delta lifestyle throughout the day.
