The Government has ratified a resettlement plan for people in 110 communes of 33 districts in provinces along the Vietnam-Cambodia border including Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Long An, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, An Giang and Kien Giang.

The plan aims to provide resettlements for 30,500 poor households and expand the cultivation area to about 25,800 ha.

The Government has also decided to spend more than VND3,500 billion on another resettlement plan for 64 communes along the Vietnam-Lao border.
