The students from Youngsan University, who arrived on July 3, are accompanied by faculty members and will be in the village through July 14, reports the Giaoducthoidai online newspaper.
The students will participate in daily cultural and recreational activities as well as many field trips to explore the countryside surrounding the village during their stay, said Sangkeun Jeong, the lead faculty member of the group.
Ms Jeong noted that the camp is sponsored by the ROK government and supervised by coordinators whom either have spent time working in Korea or have experience teaching Korean youth.
It’s a marvellous chance for university students who want a taste of Vietnamese culture, she added.
It’s here that the young scholars have an opportunity to get immersed in the language and local culture in a fun filled adventurous experience with memories that will last a lifetime.
