The Lac Hong University team will represent Vietnam at the 2011 ABU Robocon. The team consists of 18 members, three of whom will be directly involved in the contest

The team will return, hopefully triumphant, to Vietnam on August 30.

Lac Hong University has emerged as a strong team in the past two years, winning the Vietnam championship, second prize at the ABU Robocon, and a prize sponsored by Panasonic in the 2009-2010 academic year.

In the 2010-2011 academic year, the university secured the Vietnam championship, including the Best Manual Robot prize, the Best Automatic Robot, the Outright Victory prize, and the Robocon Teach show prize.

Over the years, the Electromechanics and Electronics Faculty of the university has made an effort to associate its scientific research with production activities at companies and factories. Many of its research projects have been successfully transferred to businesses.
