The income and housing price index in Vietnam is much higher than other nations in the region and the world, according to statistics from the Ministry of Construction.

This is a major reason why almost all workers and civil servants find it difficult to own a house.

The income and housing price index is between 24.5 and 26.6 in Vietnam, 6.25 in South Asia, 4.14 in East Asia, 2.21 in Africa, 6.25 in Europe, the Middle East and North America, and 2.38 in Latin America and the Caribbean.

According to the United Nations’ calculations, an income and housing price index ranging from 3 to 4 is reasonable for residents.
