Vietnam’s drones to conduct sea flight
(VOV) -The Space Technology Institute of the Vietnam Science and Technology Academy announced on May 19 that Vietnamese unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will fly 100 kilometres over the sea for a period of three days.
The six drones have already flown a total of 37 test flights in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong.

During the trial runs, the drones took 10,000 photos of the forests, rivers and land in the province’s Lac Duong district.
The successful launch of these UAVs will help experts complete research to produce similar drones in 2013.
As scheduled, during the three days of flying over the sea, the drones will record images of the fishing environments and ecological systems in the region.
